Doors Are the Only Thing We Do

Most companies that will fix a sliding door do it between other jobs. We do not — patio and sliding doors are the whole business, and that specialisation is the reason a technician can usually name the failure before the panel is out of the frame. It is also why the van carries the tandem roller assemblies, track caps, guides, latches and handle sets for the frames actually used across Riverside County, so the large majority of repairs finish in a single visit.

The business runs on one rule: the homeowner sees what we see. The panel comes out, the worn parts get shown to you, and the price is written down before anything is replaced. If something turns up beyond the quoted scope, the work stops and you decide — that conversation happens before the job rather than on the invoice. It is not a marketing position, it is just the only way this trade works honestly, because almost nothing that fails on a sliding door is visible to the person paying for it.

We also turn work down. If a door needs replacing we say so rather than selling another repair; if a few hundred dollars of hardware will carry a frame another decade, we say that too, even when the replacement quote would have been the larger invoice. Enough of our work comes from people whose neighbour we did last month that the short-term version of this job has never been worth it.

What We Actually Carry

Sealed precision-bearing tandem rollers in the common housing sizes, heavy-duty assemblies for 8-foot and three-panel doors, stainless steel track caps, bottom guides, mortise latches, keepers, foot bolts, anti-lift hardware, handle sets and weatherstrip. Sealed glass units and complete door units are made to order, so those carry a lead time — usually one to two weeks for glass and two to four for a full door.

Where a manufacturer part has been discontinued — and on frames from the 1970s and 80s that is common — we source the correct functional equivalent rather than forcing a universal roller into a pocket it does not fit. A universal part shimmed into the wrong housing carries its load off-centre and fails early, and second-opinion calls on exactly that are a steady share of our schedule.

On the installation side we fit Milgard, Anlin, Andersen, Pella and Western Window Systems among others, and we recommend based on the opening, the exposure and the budget rather than on what we happen to stock.

Where We Work

From a Temecula base we cover Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Perris, Moreno Valley, Riverside, Corona, Hemet and the communities between them. There is no trip charge in any of them and no fee for the estimate.

The range is deliberately bounded. A company that claims the whole of Southern California is either subcontracting the far end of it or quoting a travel charge it has not mentioned yet.
